Speaking and workshops
I share my experiences and expertise through panels, conferences, radio, workshops and training days, leveraging my lived experience and professional expertise to raise awareness and create safer, more inclusive spaces.
Some of the ways I can contribute as a speaker:
Survivor-Centred Approaches to LGBTQ+ Domestic Violence
Using my lived experience, I highlight the unique challenges LGBTQ+ survivors face and how we can best support communities, including survivors from migrant and racially diverse backgrounds.
Panel Discussions Intersectionality & Identity
As a queer woman of colour from a migrant background, I speak about the overlapping layers of identity and how they intersect with discrimination, violence, and access to support services.Workshops & Training on LGBTQ+ Domestic Violence Awareness
I work with local frontline organisations and service providers in Canberra to facilitate interactive sessions and strategic planning, sharing lived experience to provide education around LGBTQ+ victim-survivor’s unique experiences of domestic violence and abuse.
Workplace Inclusion
I’ve served on panels for government departments and private organisations, addressing how authentic leadership and policy can support safe, inclusive work environments for LGBTQ+ employees.
Community Engagement Mentorship & Networking
I’ve been invited to incredible events like the Country to Canberra’s Powerful Women’s Breakfast to mentor young people, focusing on leadership, community building, and advocacy skills.
